When you need to replace a tooth, dental implants are the go-to solution. But what happens if you’re missing all of your teeth? Fortunately, implants are so durable that you don’t need one for each individual tooth that has to be replaced. Instead, Dr. Saunders can use as few as four implants total to support a full-arch prosthesis (similar to a bridge) known as a TeethXpress (or as some people call it, “All-on-4”) restoration

Benefits of Full-Arch Implant Designs

Compared to other types of tooth replacement treatments, TeethXpress implants in Conroe offers advantages like:

  • Supports healthy bone levels
  • More comfortable than dentures
  • Easier to talk and eat with
  • Fills out your facial profile/tissues
  • No removable prosthetics

Complete Mouth Restoration Design

The “U” shape of your TeethXpress implant prosthesis follows the natural contour of your mouth. This design prevents a bulky “plate” from covering the roof of your mouth (palate) making it easier to talk and eat with. Plus, you’ll get the added flavors and taste sensations from foods since your palate is exposed.

While a traditional bridge only contains the “tooth” portion of your smile, a TeethXpress appliance reaches a bit further down to recreate the appearance of gum tissues where the “teeth” meet your gingiva. This design maintains a fluid appearance of a denture across your smile but takes up half the space.

Since your hybrid treatment is permanently affixed to dental implants, you won’t have to worry about it slipping, rocking, or coming out at inconvenient times.

Affording Implants in The Woodlands

As with every service we offer, flexible financing plans are available. Now you can restore your smile’s health and appearance without going over your monthly budget. Thanks to 0% interest payment options, you can get started on your TeethXpress treatment straightaway.

What to Expect

Depending on your case, treatment can be completed in just a few visits. In most cases, Dr. Kip Saunders will have you wear a temporary denture while the implant sites heal and fuse with the surrounding bone. Once stable, we affix the custom-designed extended bridge on top of your four implants, eliminating the need for a removable appliance.

You’ll be able to select the shade and shape of your smile so that it best enhances your appearance and personality. If you’ve felt too embarrassed to take around other people because of missing teeth, a TeethXpress appliance could be the solution you need to feel confident again.

Having implants placed is more comfortable than most people realize. Since the surgical area is numbed with local anesthetic and there are no nerve receptors in bone, you shouldn’t feel much of anything other than light pressure during your appointment. Most people say that getting implants is easier than having a tooth pulled.

After placement, a healing abutment or small suture will be placed over the installation site. Although a little irritation is normal, it’s easily managed with an over the counter pain reliever.
